The Lebanon Schools Foundation was created in 1997 as a nonprofit organization by an independent group of community members. Our aim is to benefit the children of the Lebanon Community School District by supporting and enhancing their educational experience.
The Foundation accepts gifts for use at the discretion of the Foundation Board, or gifts targeted for a specific purpose. As a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code, all gifts are tax deductible. Additionally, checks can be mailed to: Lebanon Schools Foundation P.O. Please make checks payable Lebanon Schools Foundation, and indicate in the memo which fund you are donating to.
The Foundation awards scholarships to assist students with their education beyond high school. In addition to scholarships open to all students, there are also targeted and specific-area scholarships established by donors through the Foundation.

Classroom and School Mini-Grants
The District and Lebanon Schools Foundation have partnered to support classroom and school mini-grants. These grants are to support an innovative idea or project at their school or in their classroom, not already provided for by the district. Teachers and staff members that would like to apply can complete the online application here when the window opens in September of 2022. Applications are due November 1, 2022 for the 2022-2023 school year.
Pay It Forward Program
The Lebanon Community School District allows its employees to contribute to the Foundations via payroll deduction. It can be a specific amount each check, or they can choose to “Round It Up”! Every penny counts! These fund the Student In Need and Teacher Mini Grants. Please see the District Business Department to enroll.
